PROVERBS "GOD’S TRUTH IN DAILY DECISIONS"
Hello church, we are about to begin a new series in the book of Proverbs called:
"GOD’S TRUTH IN DAILY DECISIONS"
And the question arises: Why study the book of Proverbs?
Today I want to share four reasons why it is worth studying the book of Proverbs.
FIRST, because it teaches us to live with wisdom.
Proverbs is not a book of theories; it is a practical book. It shows us how to apply God’s truth in our daily decisions: in our relationships, at work, in our words, in managing money, and in our character.
Proverbs 2:6: “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
SECOND, because it helps us to fear the Lord.
True wisdom does not begin with human intelligence, but with a right relationship with God. Proverbs reminds us that reverence, respect, and submission to the Lord are the foundation of a life that pleases Him.
Proverbs 9:10: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”
THIRD, because it protects our hearts from destructive decisions.
Throughout the book we find warnings about foolishness, pride, immorality, and bad company. God shows us the safe path to avoid wounds and painful consequences.
Proverbs 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
And FOURTH , because it shapes us to reflect the character of Christ.
Although it was written centuries before the coming of Jesus, Proverbs guides us toward a life marked by humility, integrity, justice, and love—qualities we see perfectly reflected in Christ.
Proverbs 10:11: “The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life.”
In CONCLUSION, studying Proverbs not only increases our knowledge; it transforms the way we think and live. It teaches us to honor God in every area of our lives and to walk in wisdom in the midst of a world full of confusion.
Let us remember the words of:
Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Join us in this study of Proverbs, and let us discover together the wisdom God has for us.

Hola iglesia estamos por comenzar la nueva serie en el libros de Proverbio llamada:
"LA VERDAD DE DIOS EN LAS DECISIONES DIARIAS"
Y surge la pregunta ¿Por qué estudiar el libro de Proverbios?
Hoy quiero compartirles cuatro razones por las que vale la pena estudiar el libro de Proverbios.
PRIMERO, porque nos enseña a vivir con sabiduría.
Proverbios no es un libro de teorías; es un libro práctico.
Nos muestra cómo aplicar la verdad de Dios en nuestras decisiones diarias: en nuestras relaciones, en el trabajo, en nuestras palabras, en el manejo del dinero y en nuestro carácter.
Proverbios 2:6 “Porque el Señor da sabiduría, de Su boca vienen el conocimiento y la inteligencia”
SEGUNDO, porque nos ayuda a temer al Señor.
La verdadera sabiduría no comienza con la inteligencia humana, sino con una relación correcta con Dios. Proverbios nos recuerda que la reverencia, el respeto y la sumisión al Señor son el fundamento de una vida que le agrada.
Proverbios 9:10: “El temor del Señor es el principio de la sabiduría”.
TERCERO, porque protege nuestro corazón de decisiones destructivas.
A lo largo del libro encontramos advertencias sobre la necedad, el orgullo, la inmoralidad y las malas compañías. Dios nos muestra el camino seguro para evitar heridas y consecuencias dolorosas.
Proverbios 4:23: “Sobre toda cosa guardada, guarda tu corazón; porque de él mana la vida”.
Y CUARTO, porque nos forma para reflejar el carácter de Cristo.
Aunque fue escrito siglos antes de la venida de Jesús, Proverbios nos guía hacia una vida marcada por la humildad, la integridad, la justicia y el amor; cualidades que vemos perfectamente reflejadas en Cristo.
Proverbios 10:11 “La boca del justo es fuente de vida”.
En CONCLUSIÓN, estudiar Proverbios no solo aumenta nuestro conocimiento; transforma nuestra manera de pensar y vivir. Nos enseña a honrar a Dios en cada área de nuestra vida y a caminar con sabiduría en medio de un mundo lleno de confusión.
Recordemos las palabras de:
Proverbios 3:5: “Confía en el Señor con todo tu corazón, y no te apoyes en tu propio entendimiento”.
Acompáñanos en este estudio de Proverbios y descubramos juntos la sabiduría que Dios tiene para nosotros.
